    Rachel and John,

Thanks for the wealth of information. Will arrive aug. 26 in the evening and depart early aug. 31 in the morning. Would like to take a trip to Mljet, by boat with a skipper. Have done it in the past, but this time bringing 3 ladies, so total of 4. This would have been possible in the boat we took a few years ago, but it was not cheap. The ladies (and me) are particular about delicious fish. Boat excursions usually do a poor job with overcooked skombre. If you can recommend something, would be grateful. This is a personal request. You may or may not post, as appropriate.

    1. Hello Pete. Thanks for the comment, and great to hear you will be returning to Korcula. Private boat trips to Mljet unfortunately do come with a higher price tag. You could try this company: http://www.korcula-boat.com or http://www.korculaadventures.com. We haven’t personally used the services of either, but I have had feedback from other people about both. I hope you find a good option and get to enjoy tasty fish!
