“My husband and I loved every second of this tour!! John was our tour guide and he is such a pro! He knows a ton about the island, the wine, and is SUPER fun to hang out with! Our group of 9 all bonded during the gorgeous ride, and really got to know each other during the tastings. This tour has it all – exercise, wine, relaxing and lots of laughs!“

This includes tastings of Grk, a unique and flavoursome white wine originating from Lumbarda village. Traditional appetisers will be served at one winery to accompany your wine tasting.
Once joyfully filled with wine and snacks it will be time to head back to Korcula Town. And relax at ease, we will provide a transfer for you and your bike – so no need to worry about cycling back after a few drinks.

Brad – Summer 2022 The Korcula Explorer Bike & Wine Tour is incredible. My wife and I had the most fun and memorable time biking through the countryside’s vineyards, tasting delicious local wines from multiple wineries, and meeting such a nice group of people through this tour. John is a fantastic tour guide and meticulously organized every aspect of the tour. We would recommend Korcula Explorer’s tours to anyone.
Samantha – Summer 2022 Fantastic day out, could not recommend more! Delicious food and so much amazing wine from great places along the bike ride. Great way to see the island. Will definitely be telling our friends to do this. Thanks John :)!!

FAQs
How hard is the cycle ride?
Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and experience of riding a bike. You will cycle around 10kms, and this includes several hills. The route may include some unlevel surfaces and off-road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate, but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.
What should I wear?
We advise that you wear clothes and shoes that you are comfortable cycling in.
What should I bring with me?
We suggest that you bring a minimum of 1 litre of water per person for the cycle ride.
Can I buy wine at the wineries?
Yes, you can buy wine at both wineries. Please note they do not accept card payments so ensure you have cash (Euro) with you if you plan to buy any wine.
Where does the tour start from and where do we meet?
We will meet you in a central meeting point in Korcula Town. We provide a map of where to meet on the Tour Confirmation.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements or food allergies?
Please let us know upon booking if you have any dietary requirements or food allergies. We can usually accommodate all. Please keep in mind the Croatian diet is fairly meat/dairy heavy so alternative options may be more limited.
What is the payment & refund policy?
Full payment is required when booking. Should you need to cancel we will offer a full refund for any cancellations received at least 48 hours before the tour date. You can see full details on our Terms & Conditions page: http://www.korculaexplorer.com/terms-conditions/.
