Before booking, please ensure you and all participants understand the cycling requirements. By default, this is a mountain bike tour. The route includes hills, gravel trails, and potentially hot weather, conditions that may be too challenging for novice riders. You need a good level of fitness to participate. E-bikes are available for an additional cost (€30 per bike) but are not recommended for inexperienced cyclists.

Tour Description
Pedal into the heart of Korcula life on this small-group, food, wine, and biking adventure.
Starting in Korcula Town, you’ll warm up with a gentle 15-minute ride to your first stop: one of the island’s top honey producers. Here you’ll step into the world of local beekeeping and discover how Korcula’s fragrant landscapes shape each jar, and enjoy a honey tasting.
Back on your bike, you’ll follow a scenic route along country paths passing stunning vineyards and olive grove landscapes towards the village of Lumbarda. Arriving at a family-run winery, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, unhurried tasting of Grk and Plavac Mali, and other local wines, accompanied by local snacks.
Your final stop is a short pedal away. At Ivan and Ana’s welcoming garden, true island hospitality awaits. Here, you’ll sample their homemade jams, liqueurs, olive oil, dried fruits, sweet treats, and wine, finishing with their beloved crepe-style pancakes filled with jam.
With hearts full and bellies happy, we’ll whisk you and your bikes back to Korcula Town by van, no uphill cycling after wine!
This relaxed and joyful tour is all about connecting you to the people, flavours, and landscape that make up Korcula Island. It’s the kind of afternoon that feels less like a tour and more like spending time with old friends.

If you have dinner or other reservations after the tour finishes, please consider this when planning your schedule. We had an absolutely amazing time on this tour. All of the stops were both very engaging and educational as well as delicious. John is a wonderful tour guide and was very considerate of our family’s needs. The views from the biking were gorgeous and it was an excellent workout. The last stop, at Ivan’s farm, was very special. He was so warm, treated my children like family and has absolutely beautiful tastings. We can’t recommend this experience highly enough
Fantastic tour! John was an awesome guide who was super helpful, especially with my Mom who hadn’t been on a bike in 30 years and had a little bit more trouble at first. All the stops were made too were excellent and I would go back to all of them if I could have stayed on the island longer. So overall I would 100% recommend!

Great guide who was patient with us hopping on a bike after a decade or more! He gave me great recommendations for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Korcula! and fantastic time cycling around Korcula tasting local produce and meeting the producers of honey, gin, wine, and syrups etc. fun and great for active relaxers 😎
What To Expect
🕓 20 minutes: Get set up on bikes.
🕓 15 minutes: Ride to 1st stop.
🕓 45 minutes: Honey and olive oil demonstration and tasting.
🕓 45 minutes: Ride to 2nd stop.
🕓 1.5 hours: Wine tasting with snacks and a presentation.
🕓 5 minutes: Ride to 3rd stop.
🕓 1.5 hours: Tasting at local producer
🕓 10 minutes: Transfer by minivan back to Korcula
Frequently Asked Questions
Minimum Number: While your party size can be as small as one person, our tours require a minimum of 4 total persons to run. So if you are a group of 1 person, 2 or 3 people, please still go ahead & book. If we are unable to meet the minimum, we will gladly rebook you to another date, refund your purchase or charge an additional cost (with your agreement if you’d like to go ahead with the booking).
Maximum Number: Our maximum group tour size is 9 people.
Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness for the cycle ride. You will cycle around 10kms, and this includes some road cycling, several hills and some off-road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate, but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.

Children are welcome on this tour. The child price (if they are not drinking alcohol) is €103 per child.
Please let us know upon booking if you have any dietary requirements or food allergies. We can usually accommodate all. Please keep in mind the Croatian diet is fairly meat/dairy heavy so alternative options may be more limited.
Yes, this tour can be made private. Private tours are available Monday to Saturday. Please email us to check availability and private tour rates.

We provide exact details about the meeting location and a map on the Tour Confirmation (which you will receive upon booking).
Please ensure you arrive on time.
Wear clothes and shoes that you are comfortable cycling in. We advise against wearing flip flops! Trainers or sturdy sandals are best.
Water is provided at the winery and local producer, but not during the biking, so please bring water with you, especially in the peak summer.
On bike tours please bring a minimum of 1 litre of water per person for the cycle ride. You’ll need it!
If you plan to purchase wine or local products, bring a back pack to transport them between stops or back to Korcula Town.
Yes, you can buy local products at each stop. Please note they do not accept card payments, so ensure you have cash (Euro) with you if you plan on making a purchase. (The only producer who accepts card payment on this tour, is stop 1, the honey producer).
