Nomad4993317995723 August 2026Wonderful way to experience the Lumbarda region through movement and wine! Don’t skip this tour! The best… we prefer to explore by bike and on foot and this did not disappoint. The bikes themselves were very good! Our tour guide John was knowledgeable, helpful and we biked at a pace that was inclusive - even beginner bikers would feel comfortable. 2 winery stops! Excellent wines and we loved hearing about the history of the Lumbarda region as well… unique and delicious wines, wonderful people, wonderful tour guide and if i could give more than 5 stars i would.Posted on Tripadvisor
Matthew Leclair30 July 2026Authentic, Fun, Active and Tasty Experience I would highly recommend booking this experience for anyone who wants a little physical activity (moderate biking), learn about the history of wine making in Korcula and taste some unique family made wines, olive oil, and locally made honey. John was great and the stops he has selected were authentic and personal. Where else can you meet the makers of the wines and delicious dinks you are sampling. We bought some marmalade, honey and olive oils to take home. Very fun and relaxed group.Posted on Tripadvisor
TTFN-ATL24 July 2026Outstanding Tour with lots of Laughs and Fun! We had a blast on this tour! John was extremely knowledgable and also hysterical. We laughed the entire day! He even shared his olive oil and olives with us, and made last minute reservations for us for dinner that night. We definitely recommend this tour. AmyWHiggins14 July 2026History of wine on Korcula We visited two wineries on this tour - I loved them both!!!! Since wine tourism is relatively new for Croatia, some of the tastings are just that, tasting. John and his wife go out of their way to tell you more about the history of wine making on Korcula, including; the how, what, and why’s behind each bottle. The wineries are beautiful with breathtaking views! And even though they all serve the same varietals, each one is different. 10/10 recommendation going on this tour vs. on your own to taste AND learn about the culture. They also provide transport! If you are a solo traveler, email them for a spot. The website won’t let you book for 1 since most tours need a minimum of 4. Racheal was super friendly in helping me find a tour and a time I could go. The tour takes more than two hours (we took 5). So sit back and enjoy 😉😀Posted on Tripadvisor

John is such a fun and knowledgeable guide, and the size of the group was perfect. This was a memorable highlight of our trip, and the price is incredible for what you get. Scott B8 July 2026Wonderful bike tour on Korcula! We had a really great time on this tour! Rachael was a really fun guide and we had several other couples on the tour who were very fun. The ride itself was fun, we got some great views and the tastings at the wineries were great. Best of all, we didn’t have to ride back, they picked us up in a taxi for the return trip. Syd25 August 2026Our group of seven spent a perfect day with Rachael drinking amazing wine, eating delicious food and thoroughly enjoying conversation and laughs with her. What a terrific introduction to Korcula! Rachael was incredibly responsive before we arrived, helping us plan the day and account for special requests. We got an immediate good feeling just from the emails and WhatsApps with her. And then the actual experience completely delivered! Transportation was flawless, including for a couple in our group who had to depart early. Korcula Explorer even helped us plan a side trip with a different guide/company after our wine and food tasting tour was over. We definitely recommend Korcula Explorer if you're planning to visit Korcula and love good food, good times and good people.Posted on Google
Liz23 August 2026Don’t hesitate! Sign up for this tour… it was so much fun! Yes we got hot and sweaty (middle of August for context) but the ride was fairly easy, a pace even non bikers can handle and we stopped along the way for views and information and history lessons and then 2 winery stops! All the wine was good even… John was our guide - really nice and helpful. Not sure what times they offer but we met at 14:45 and it made for a great late afternoon/early evening activity. Jim10 August 2026My wife and I did a guided tour 27 years ago, and had an unpleasant experience. Ever since we have done all of our own travel planning. We decided to do this tour on a whim during a family trip with our adult daughter and her partner. Glad that we did! John was an excellent guide and had a great sense of humor. He was knowledgeable of local wine production and had clear rapport with the families who owned the wineries. He also did a great job of engaging the whole group, and we enjoyed meeting everyone. Rachael is so much fun and provided great information regarding wine in Korcula. We made fast friends with others in our small group from Australia, Brazil and ex-pats living in London. We loved meeting the food/wine producers, each who had such a fun, unique personality and delighted us with their stories and knowledge. The biking was fun and not too strenuous. Donald Cote12 June 2026The cycling , seeing countryside, and wines were great but the trip was full of laughs and good conversation with John. He even helped get us diner reservations at the last minute for an "under the bell " meal that typically needs to be ordered in advance. I would absolutely recommend but there are so hills and steep inclines that are manageable and he moves at a pace everyone is comfortable with.
