“We had a great time enjoying the wine tasting with Rachael. We learnt a lot about the local wines, which all tasted absolutely incredible, and they were very generous with the amounts! We went to two different vineyards and tried a wide range, and also got a chance to walk through the vineyards. Rachael was really friendly and such a good tour guide. We would definitely recommend this for others!”

Description
  • Enjoy spectacular views of Lumbarda and the coast during a leisurely walk through the countryside and vineyards
  • Visit family-run wineries and learn about wine-making processes
  • Taste the delicious Grk wine which originates from the vineyards of Lumbarda village
  • Relax in beautiful surroundings whilst sampling tasty fresh food
  • Unwind at the end of the evening on a boat trip back to Korcula Town with sparkling wine served onboard or a drink at the local beach bar

After a scenic 15-minute transfer from Korcula Town, you will be in the delightful village of Lumbarda. You’ll head off for a gentle walk through the Lumbarda countryside and vineyards. Stop to take memorable photos whilst we share with you stories about island life and what makes the local wines so special! You’ll end the walk at two of our favourite wineries to taste wines from the region including the uniquely delicious Grk wine and the bold Croatian red wine Plavac Mali. Feast upon a platter of traditional appetisers at the first winery and a homemade local speciality pasta dinner at the second winery.

To cap off the evening, enjoy a final stroll under the moonlight through the vineyards. You’ll either head to the small port for a peaceful boat trip back to Korcula, sipping on sparkling wine or to the local beach bar where you can enjoy your favourite tipple (before we transfer you back to Korcula Town).

Valerie – Summer 2022 We had a wonderful relaxed evening with Rachel and 6 others ( 9 in total) on the wine and food tour. Rachel is very friendly, knowledgeable and lovely. She kept the group together but also gave time for chat. As we were not a big group could all sit together when eating and talk together. The trip started with a short minibus ride to the village followed by a walk to the first Vineyard with a talk about the grapes and vines as we passed. The 2 Vineyards we visited were beautiful with great food and plenty of wine, which was explained how it is made before each glass, finished by a boat trip with Fizz. Although there was lots of wine it was poured for us by the glass, not a free for all boozy do. Can really recommend this trip. Rachel and her husband also run other types of trips, which if as good as this one will be brilliant.

Siobhan – Summer 2022 We had a brilliant time on this tour, very relaxed and enjoyable! The perfect way to spend an evening in Korcula! Rachael is a fantastic guide, she was so engaging and friendly. We got to try 4 wines in each place and had a lovely meal which was more than what we were expecting for what we paid! Highly recommend!
