Posip Wine Tasting & Cycling Tour in Smokvica

The quaint village of Smokvica is a place of preserved traditions and home to some of the island’s best wines, notably the indigenous sort, Posip. Join our friend John in his new homeland tasting local wines by bike.

Tour Price: 70€ per person

Payment Terms: Deposit required in advance. Balance in cash (Kuna) to tour guide on day of tour.

Important booking information:

We will email you to confirm your requested tour is available, the total tour cost and to check that you wish to proceed with the reservation.

After you have confirmed you would like to book, we will send you payment details. Depending on the tour you wish to book we either require full payment or a deposit payment in advance. This can be paid online via credit/debit card or PayPal.

After payment is received we will email you a Tour Booking Confirmation which includes full details.

Departing from the picturesque bay of Brna, take a leisurely bicycle ride around Smokvica’s famous vineyards, identifying the local grapes and growers.  We will then stop at some of the wineries to taste their unique and delicious wines, and learn about their history. Return to Brna, where the tour finishes.

  • Wine Tasting at several Smokvica wineries
  • Bike rental

Price does not include:

  • Water during rhe cycle ride
  • Transfers to/from start point in Brna


What should I wear?

We advise that you wear clothes and shoes that you are comfortable cycling in.

What should I bring with me?

We suggest that you bring a minimum 1l of water per person for the cycle ride. If you plan to buy wine from the winery, a back pack is handy to transport it.

Can I buy wine at the wineries?

Yes you can buy wine at both wineries. Please note they do not accept card payments, so ensure you have cash (Kuna) with you it you plan to buy any wine.

Where does the tour start from & where do we meet?

The tour starts and finishes in Brna. A map with the meeting location marked will be included in Tour Confirmation. Please let us know if you need help transferring to Brna as we can arrange private taxis.
