Culinary Delights on Korcula

I think it is safe to say, eating and drinking is crucial to any good holiday. EasyJet's inflight magazine recently referred to Korcula as a Treasure Island for gastronomy. So what should you be feasting on during your visit to Korcula?

Here's our Korcula Menu

Tasty bites of cheese from Pag and prsut (cured) ham with freshly baked bread

A generous helping of Zrnovski Makaruni, an island pasta speciality

Simply grilled fish straight from the Adriatic or a slow cooked Peka, mouthwatering tender pieces of meat and potatoes

Home-made rozata (think creme brulee) or Cukarin (Korcula's cookies)

You'll find restaurants all across the island serving up traditional and modern dishes. Some of our favourite places include Belin, Maslina, Aterina and Filippi.

Interested in a "hands on" food experience? Learn how to make three local dishes during a Croatian cooking class in the historical rural village of Zrnovo.

Of course, you can't forget the wine. "If food is the body of good living, wine is its soul!" Native wines include Grk and Posip, two delicious whites. Want to learn more about the wine from the island? Join us on a wine tasting tour on Korcula.
